Our Vision
This depiction carved onto stone was found in the north of Scotland, it is the Tree of Life – a timeless symbol found in cultures, religions, and mythologies around the world. Long revered as sacred, the tree reflects humanity’s deep-rooted connection to nature.
This powerful motif is the heart of the Gallery’s identity. Like the tree itself, we are grounded in the past while reaching toward an unknowable future. Our work is a tribute to the enduring beauty of nature and the shared threads of humanity, seen through the artistic legacy of three ancient cultures: Pictish, Norse, and Celtic.
In this carefully curated space, diverse perspectives converge to explore our evolving relationship with the land. Artists draw inspiration from natural materials—metal, wood, glass, ceramics, and paper—while also embracing modern innovations such as fibreglass and digital media.
This is more than a gallery. It is a celebration of heritage, sustainability, and the living bond between art and nature.
