Ivan - The Ukrainian Collective
Artrada is a collective of workshops that brings together artists and artisans from across Ukraine. Founded in 2017, the group has been creating unique, meaningful works that reflect both personal expression and cultural identity. Since the onset of the recent invasion, Artrada’s work has taken on even greater significance, as its members continue to create under increasingly difficult and often dangerous conditions. Despite these challenges, the collective remains dedicated to its craft.
LØRE Gallery has established strong ties with Artrada, offering support and standing in solidarity with the collective during these trying times.
Among Artrada’s most accomplished members is Ivan, a graduate of the Lviv National Academy of Arts—one of the most prestigious institutions in Ukraine and Central and Eastern Europe. Originally from Lutsk, Ivan now lives outside Lviv, where he continues to produce work that is both technically refined and emotionally resonant. Known for his versatility and the depth of his artistic vision, Ivan often works with lime wood, a medium that allows for subtle, expressive forms. His sculptures, including the works on display here, bear the mark of both classical training and contemporary relevance.
