Connecting with the seen and unseen as I paint in nature, I understand it is the spirits that shape my texture, colour and composition.

When I am humbled this way, I can see and translate images through paint and mark making.

The multi-sensory experience of painting amongst trees, beside water and under huge skies has captured my excitement and attention for many years.  Working with changing light, colour, temperature and precipitation absorbs my Being and I can feel deeply content in my element.
