Suzanne Birch is a fine art painter based in Forres, Scotland. Her work explores the elements of nature through both figurative and abstract visual language.
Originally from the Netherlands, Suzanne moved to the north of Scotland in 2015, drawn by her love for wild spaces. Through her experience living and working with the land as an organic grower, she developed a deep connection to the natural world. A keen observer of birdlife, animal tracks, and shifting light through the forest canopy, Suzanne’s creative practice is as rooted in the outdoors as it is in the studio.
During this special event, Suzanne will be holding a live painting demonstration in the gallery from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Starting a new piece from scratch, she will share insights into her working methods and creative process. Visitors are invited to observe the painting evolve from its earliest stages and are encouraged to ask questions about materials, composition, workflow, and more.
This is a unique opportunity to learn from Suzanne’s experience and to be inspired by the rich talent showcased at Løre — a true feast for the senses. All are welcome.
